Santa Claus came!

Christmas this year was awesome! We started some new family traditions, like going and looking at Christmas lights in the car, playing Christmas music on the piano (well at least me playing with Madders banging). I am a little sad, it seems like it just flew by! Christmas day me & Mad waited for Eric to get home and then we all opened gifts that Santa had left. Maddie like everything she got but most of all not the most expensive or "fun" gift. She like the homemade wood people I made her with the cloth pouch. Which always makes ya feel good when they like something you made! Then after that we headed out to Grandpa and Grandma L. We had a YUMMY breakfast followed by more presents. Unfortunately Eric feel asleep after that, can't say I blame him, seeing how he worked all night. I decided to let him sleep so me and Mad quietly snuck off to my parents (Grandma and Grandpa D.) Were we hung out and relaxed for a while and opened some more presents. Then I had to run home to get the pie out of the freezer (Marie Callenders). Me and Mad went and picked up Eric and headed home. Thats were Eric and Mad feel asleep, giving me alittle time to clean some stuff up. Then around 1pm me and Mad went to my Grandma T. house for our anual Christmas dinner. It was sooo YUMMY and fun and loud! Then we got one more Christmas gift.
The world is such a crazy place, it was just so nice to be able to spend Christmas with people who mean the most to us, our families. That is the greatest gift we got this year, nothing compares or even stands close. We are truly blessed.

Electric Baby

Maddie climbs all over the recliners in the family room, helping her stay nice and electrified! I know I always say how much I love this little laddy, but its so true, life would be a bore without her. I am so blessed to have my family and they are the best Christmas present anyone could ever ask for. They both treat me so good, and are so loving and caring. I am so excitied to see what Mad will do on Christmas! I think she'll be alittle more into this year, which will make it fun.

DECEMBER CRAFTING

Today I finally got my last Christmas craft completed! (YES I AM CRAZY)! I have been sooooo bussy lately and as usual I am crafting away through all the craziness. But I love it, so thats important right? I think sometimes Eric would give me away if I let him! hehe. Anways these are the latest projects I decided to tackle! They all turned out pretty good.

MOM'S SHOES

Maddie cracks me up at least a hundred times a day. She is so funny. Today she decided to wear my shoes instead of hers. I don't know if they fit her feet very well.
I am looking foward to Christmas this year! Its so much more fun when kids are around. The poor Christmas tree keeps geting all the decorations taken off and put into little Maddie piles, and she abosolutly adores the automative santa that her Grandpa and Grandma gave us last year. She wants that thing on all the time, lets just say I have heard Jingles Bells at least a million times and seen Santa flip and a raindeer a bunch (GO SANTA) :) . I am just glad she is hear to share the holiday with us.

Christmas Crafts

I love Mondays! Its like I have a whole week before I have to go to work on Saturday. Its so nice to spend all that time with Ms. Maddie. I finally got some Me time and starting crafting. Yay! The snowman I just saw a pic on the internet and made up my own verson of a pattern and cut him out. I think he's cute :). I saw a tutoral about the nativity magnets on the internet. MAD LOVES MAGNETS. So I made them and they are a huge hit with Mad, she puts them on the fridge and claps her hands. SO FUNNY.
