Wood Water MELLON

My LIL Lady

Its been FOREVER since I updated my blog on Lil Ms. Maddie. Things have been crazy lately! We re-wired our entire house, which for those of you that know anything about electricity, it was a quite a big ta-do. We also got some spring chicks, Eric has been busy building them a coop, which hopefully will be done buy next Tuesday (fingers crossed). We took Maddie swimming at the local swimming pool, had a blast, Maddie loved it! We built us a Clubhouse out of old cardboard boxes. We have been to the park at least a million and half times, Maddie's favorite part is the slides. We went to Mc. Donalds and played on the play land (dad went up to the top with her). We have really enjoyed this week, been able to spend lots of time with both grand parents becuase they have been off, and got to see grandma knee's new puppy ( I want one!, Eric said HE DOES NOT WANT A PUPPY, but he's not telling me what to do, (so there is hope right?). hehe. Anways its been great, I love finding out new activities we can do as a family.

New Easter Craft

This is my latest crafting adventure. It was so nice to have Swed over to entertain Madders. Surprisingly the girls played really well together. This one is simple just made out of MDF board, the sticks (legs) you buy at Walmart. I just drew my own pattern. My FAVORITE part is the hair on the chicken. HAHA. To cute. Anways I drilled the whole for the legs way to close together the first time and it looked kinda off center, so Kiara if you want I'll fix yours too sorry chica. :-)

New Crafts St. Patricks Day & Easter

So this is what I have been up to the last two nights. I must say it took me a while to draw the perfect shamrock pattern. I came up with this idea all on my own (or at least I think I came up with it). I liked the idea of hearts on top cut in bead board. I finally talked Eric into buying me some bead board and lately its ending up on everything. :) So anyways back to how I drew the perfect shamrock my suggestions to you are to draw half of a heart, and fold the paper in half. Then cut the heart out. PERFECTION. Then use that template and rotate it three times to get the Shamrock make sure you add a stem for the bottom, then repeat the process except cut a smaller heart out. Use that for the hearts on top. Next time I will take more pics. Anyways on to the Chickens, I saw them on some website (which I will not mention its name because I don't know if they are copyrighted) hehe, anyways I copied them buy drawing my own pattern and I think they are to fun for Easter, now all I have to say is goodnight, I'm sleepy.
